Nestled in the heart of Cozumel’s Centro district, That’s Amore Pizzeria Cozumel is a true gem for pizza lovers craving authentic, high-quality pies crafted with passion and precision. This charming pizzeria brings a slice of Italy to the island, specializing in delectable, wood-fired Neapolitan and New York-style pizzas that are as visually tantalizing as they are bursting with flavor.
The menu at That’s Amore is thoughtfully curated to please a variety of tastes, featuring classics like the Margherita — a harmonious blend of tangy tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, fragrant parmesan, and fresh basil that delivers a perfect balance of freshness and richness. The Pepperoni pizza offers generous layers of spicy, robust pepperoni atop the melty cheese and classic tomato base, while the standout Hot Honey Pepperoni adds an irresistible twist with housemade hot honey drizzled over loaded pepperoni, marrying smoky spice with subtle sweetness in every bite.
For those seeking something playful and unexpected, the Hawaiian pizza stands out, featuring caramelized pineapple that adds a luscious, tropical sweetness, perfectly offset by smoked ham and the signature savory tomato sauce. Beyond pizzas, don’t miss the Sweaty Balls — oven-baked pizza dough balls slathered in housemade garlic butter and parmesan, a heavenly appetizer that has won the hearts of many local aficionados. The Garlic Bread offers a comforting, cheesy bite with its crispy crust layered with robust garlic butter and mozzarella. Enthusiasts can even take home a bottle of the coveted housemade hot honey to drizzle on their own creations.
The dining atmosphere at That’s Amore is warm and inviting, amplified by the genuine hospitality of owners Nancy and Ed, whose passion for pizza and community shines through every interaction. Guests consistently praise the cozy, neighborhood vibe where you’re greeted like a longtime friend the moment you step in. For many, the combination of authentic flavors, high-quality ingredients, and heartfelt service turns dining here into an unforgettable experience rather than just a meal.
Visitors rave not only about the food’s impeccable quality but also about the palpable joy and expertise behind every pizza. As one enthusiastic guest noted, the pizzas at That’s Amore transcend the local expectation of “island pizza” to deliver a “good for everywhere” experience — authentic, fresh, flavorful, and expertly baked. Whether you’re a fan of the classic Margherita or eager to try the innovative Hot Honey Pepperoni, each bite resonates with care and craftsmanship.
Conveniently located on 10 Avenida Norte between streets 2 and 4, That’s Amore invites both locals and travelers to indulge in an elevated pizza experience in the heart of Cozumel. And while they don’t serve alcohol, guests love the flexibility of bringing their own drinks from nearby establishments, making each visit perfectly tailored to individual preferences.
In short, That’s Amore Pizzeria is more than a place to eat—it’s where the magic of handmade pizza, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere come together. Whether you’re savoring a thin, chewy crust New York-style slice or sampling their signature extras, this pizzeria leaves a lasting impression, making it a must-visit culinary destination on the island.

⭐ The best pizzeria around! Not just in Cozumel — the best in all of Quintana Roo! Besides their amazing variety of delicious homemade pizzas, the service is truly unbeatable. The owners treat you with so much warmth that you instantly feel at home. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences we had in Cozumel. Highly recommend — don’t miss it! And please, don’t leave without trying the garlic bread… top of the line! With love, Martin & Silvia from Argentina ????????

Great pizza and friendly service! The owner and one of his employees studied Neapolitan pizza. While they don’t have alcohol you can go a couple doors down and bring a drink back. We’ll be back!

Super cute new pizza restaurant on the island! Very conveniently located on 10 between 2 and 4 next to Una Mas. The owners Nancy and Ed are so welcoming and friendly. We couldn't decide if we wanted to start our dinner off with the garlic bread (pizza dough with garlic butter and mozzarella) or the Sweaty Balls (pizza dough balls with garlic butter and parmesan). Decisions, decisions. We ended up ordering the garlic bread, and the couple next to us ordered the Sweaty Balls and luckily they were wanting to share bread so we could all try both. Both were fantastic! We had the That's Amore pizza (ALL the meats!) and it was so good! You must try their house-made hot honey. It's delicious on the pizza. We'll definitely be back to try something different. As of November 7, 2024, the location on Google Maps shows this restaurant to be located in Playa del Carmen. This is incorrect. It is on the Island of Cozumel located on 10 between 2 and 4.

New York style pizza. Well cooked with quality ingredients. Added semolina gives it a good pliability so the crust is nice and chewy. Friendly staff that make the visit welcoming.

Visited this highly reviewed place expecting "good for the island" pizza but instead had "good for everywhere" pizza. Some of the best pizza I've had. Quality ingredients and an awesome oven lead to really great tasting pizza. Very friendly owner and staff. Will definitely be back on next trip.

On Vacation and just happened to stumble on this spot. First off was met by the Owners in the most courteous and friendly way. I didn't expect much as in pizza in Mexico? Well boy was I wrong, I had their Pepperoni and Hot Honey Pizza and it was just like being back home in Jersey-awesome Pizza Oven, Great Flavor, and overall Great Experience. Wonderful Job Ed and Nancy from a NJ Chef.
